My baby is only a week old and I cant remember what my 4 year old was at that age. But doctors have a chart that they use to compare your baby to others. I remember my daughter was in the 10th percentile at that age so 90% of babies were bigger than her and 10% were smaller. My doctor said that as long as she was in the "curve" she was fine and not to worry about what percentile she was in.

My son was about that. Maybe not quite as long but the weight was 14 lbs. The docs. always tell me he is a little over average in weight and height, but they did with my first son also and now he is a tiny little thing at 6 years old.
