I just had a baby and I realize that for now he needs to wake up around the clock, but I wanted to see what experiences you have getting your babies to sleep through the night. Any advice on getting a baby to sleep through the night when he is ready? Or at least cutting down to one feeding between 11pm and 7 am?

My sister-in-law is having her first baby. My mother-in-law threw her a baby shower 2 days ago and invited the entire family. It was a large shower. Today in the mail I received an invitation for another baby shower for her that is being thrown by a close friend who was in attendance at the first shower. I already bought a gift for the first shower. Do I have to get her another gift or even attend the 2nd shower?

I am helping plan a baby shower for my sister and we love family feud so we would like to have a baby edition. What are some questions and answers we could use. I have found a couple from a site but would like more.

My baby started solids early, cereal at three months and baby food at four months. Now she is five months. I feed her cereal twice a day (morning and evening) and 1 jar stage II baby food for lunch. I was wondering when I could replace that evening cereal feed with a meat and veggie supper-like meal.

*Please no comments like your not supposed to start baby on solids until 6 months so on and so on…I am already aware of all the information about starting your baby on solids.

I am throwing a baby shower and in one of the games I spell out BABY SHOWER with small paper bags and the guests have to guess what is in the bag with the corresponding letter. B-bibs, A- applesauce and so on… I just can’t seem to find something small that can be in the bag labeled “E” Any suggestions?

My son is 4 weeks old and still doesn’t really make eye contact or hold your gaze.

Most baby books say at 4 weeks old they can accomplish those tasks, but I’m not concerned.
My son was 2 1/2 weeks early which makes him a little later on some milestones.
And I know all babies develop at different times.

When did your baby start making eye contact, or tracking a toy or object with their eyes?

I just recently got my baby to start eating cereal. She used to keep spitting it out. She still will not eat baby food. I’m worried that she is too dependant on formula. How do I correct this and how do I ensure she is getting enough food and nutrition? How much baby food and cereal should she be eating at six months of age? Any advice is appreciated.
